Description: Photos show views of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church located at 5 Bryant Street on the east side of the Upper Common at the corner of Main and Bryant Streets. Built around 1881, the stick style building was originally located on Water Street. It was enlarged in 1891, and in 1900 was moved to its present location, its original clapboarding covered with stucco. In 1903, the Tudor Revival style rectory was built and connected to the church by an arcade of paired columns. The rectory has a shingle exterior and diamond-paned windows.
