This interview includes the following topics: Mr. MacKenzie was born in Middleton, N.S., Canada in 1894. He went to sea at a young age and sailed for the Eastern Steamship Co. Mr. Mackenzie joined the American Army in Boston and was sent to Ft. Hamilton, NJ for basic training. He remained in the army for the duration of the war. Kenneth MacKenzie was granted his United States citizenship for service in the U.S. army.
