This interview includes the following topics: Captain Howe is a Stoneham native. He attended the U.S.S. Ranger Nautical school during the war. On January 15, 1919, Captain Howe was on leave, when he witnessed the "Great Molasses Flood" in Boston's North End. Captain Howe is a Navy career person. He also served in WWII and the Korean conflict. It was his privilege to serve on "flag ships" during his service.
