This interview includes the following topics: History of the Middlesex Drug Store located in the Dow Block built in 1864. Middlesex Drug purchased by Elizabeth and Elbert Boyd in 1913. Mrs. Boyd comments on the early types of drugs and solutions used in pharmacology. Her recollection of Stoneham include her business contemporaries; the effect of the Great Depression in the 1930s; and W.W.II. Mrs. Boyd was one of the first woman to become a professionally licensed pharmacist.
