is in the Cliffs alongside the old carriage road from which it is distant about 100 yards westerly. It can also be easily reached by way of the 'Fells' depot of the B. & Maine R.R., from which it is distant about 600 yards north-westerly. The Cliff is usually dry in summer. Front view, from below, looking westerly. Dec. 19th 1888, at 9:00 o'c A.M. Gift of Francis Belcher 3/88."
